The RK 520 crepe masking tape is a single-sided masking tape made from stabilized crepe. With a 30 mm width and 50 m length, it is reliably suited to painting and covering work. The core measures 76 mm and the tape thickness is 0.13 mm. The adhesive is based on rubber and provides good adhesion to many substrates without putting excessive stress on the backing material.

The material combination of stabilized crepe and rubber adhesive gives the tape a good tear edge and moderate adhesion, favoring clean removal without residue. Temperature resistance extends to plus 80 °C, so slight heating or direct contact with warm surfaces does not cause immediate failure. For industrial applications, the tape is particularly suitable as a temporary protection or masking solution.

Suitable for covering and marking work

The tape is excellent for covering edges, surfaces and contours during painting, assembly or cleaning processes. The single-sided adhesion enables good adhesion to both smooth and slightly rough substrates, while allowing easy removal without damage.

Processing & practice

1. Unroll the tape to the desired length.
2. Cut neatly along the edge or surface.
3. Check both sides during removal – peel off the tape by hand, preferably in a single motion.
