RK 621 G plasterer's tape – 34001 at a glance

The RK 621 G plasterer's tape is a single-sided masking tape made of flexible PVC with a rubber adhesive. It is suitable for covering contours during plastering and painting and for protecting sensitive surfaces. At 1250 mm wide and 33 m long, one roll provides extensive protection.

The core measures 76 mm for secure unwinding, while the yellow colour improves visibility. Its thickness of 0.12 mm offers a good balance between flexibility and durability. Temperature resistance ranges from −30 °C to +60 °C, making the product reliable even with temperature fluctuations and in damp environments.

Suitable for masking and contour protection in interior finishing

This masking tape protects sanded areas, surfaces and edges during plastering, filling and painting. The flexible PVC backing conforms to uneven areas, while the rubber adhesive provides reliable adhesion to many substrates – plaster, wood, tiles or concrete. The yellow colour increases visibility and makes precise work easier.

Construction: flexible PVC backing with rubber adhesive

The flexible PVC backing provides good dimensional stability and flexibility so that the tape adheres even to contours. The rubber adhesive provides strong adhesion to common substrates and can be removed without residue when removed as part of the plastering process.

Application tips

  1. Unwind the tape neatly and place it along the desired edge or area.
  2. Press the tape down firmly to avoid bubbles and ensure even adhesion.
  3. Cut the tape with a clean blade to achieve a defined edge.
  4. Ideally, remove the tape immediately after plastering is complete, while the substrate is still damp, to minimise adhesive residue.
