RK 980 PTFE adhesive tape from Krückemeyer is a single-sided film adhesive tape made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) with a silicone adhesive. The brown film is 0.1 mm thick and comes on a core measuring 76 mm. At 580 mm wide and with a running length of 33 m, it is particularly suitable for large surfaces.

The tape has a smooth surface, low-friction properties and insulating properties – features that are particularly beneficial for protection and release tasks under heat.

Its temperature resistance extends from −30 °C to +260 °C for 1 hour, allowing reliable use of the adhesive tape in demanding production or mounting processes.

Application tips for the tape

1. Clean the surface thoroughly and keep it dry.
2. Unwind the tape, check its position and press down firmly.
3. Apply even pressure or finish with a roller.
4. Trim excess material cleanly and check the area.
