RK 556 crepe masking tape at a glance
The RK 556 crepe masking tape from Krückemeyer is a single-sided adhesive crepe tape with a stabilised crepe backing. With a 1.528 mm width and 50 m length, it is ideal for masking and contour work in painting and installation environments. The adhesive is made from rubber and ensures reliable adhesion to common surfaces.
The thickness of the material is 0.16 mm and the core has a diameter of 76 mm. The backing material is stabilised crepe, which conforms flexibly to contours and enables clean masking as it is unrolled.

Suitable for masking and contour work
The flexible crepe backing structure allows the tape to conform neatly to contours. The rubber adhesive provides good adhesion to wood, metal and painted surfaces – ideal for painting work, masking and temporarily securing films.
Temperature resistance
The adhesive tape remains functional even with temperature changes up to +120 °C and in colder applications down to approximately −30 °C, making it suitable for indoor and short-term applications.
