RK 721 Fabric Adhesive Gaffer Tape

RK 721 fabric gaffer tape – 1,250 mm x 50 m – dark blue

The RK 721 fabric gaffer tape is a single-sided fabric adhesive tape with a coated fabric backing and a rubber adhesive. At 1,250 mm wide and 50 m long, it offers substantial covering and fastening capacity for assembly and maintenance work.

The tape's thickness is 0.29 mm, and its core has a diameter of 76 mm, allowing use with common roll holders. The matte surface and dark blue colour help it blend discreetly into work areas.

The rubber adhesive provides good adhesion to many substrates, including metal, plastic and glass, and allows temporary or permanent bonding depending on the substrate and load. The tape is particularly suitable for large-area bonding and covering tasks in repair and assembly processes.

Versatile applications for RK 721 fabric gaffer tape

Temporary covering and fastening

The durable backing and strong rubber adhesive allow surfaces to be covered securely or components to be fixed temporarily. The matte surface produces a discreet bond intended to leave as few marks as possible during maintenance or assembly work.

Properties that support practical use

• Wide-format tape: The 1,250 mm width enables efficient coverage of large areas.
• Matte finish: Subtle appearance and reduced reflections in assembly environments.
• Rubber adhesive: High initial tack and good adhesion to a wide range of surfaces.
• Coated fabric backing: Robust tear resistance and dimensional stability under load.

Construction: coated fabric with rubber adhesive

The backing consists of coated fabric, and the adhesive is rubber. The 0.29 mm tape thickness and 76 mm core support even application and roll handling.

Distinctive features

Wide tape for efficient coverage

At 1,250 mm wide, the tape covers larger areas and reduces material use and the time needed for assembly and sealing tasks.

Matte surface

The matte surface minimises reflections and makes marking and visual checks easier in brightly lit work areas.

Strong adhesion from rubber adhesive

The adhesive provides good initial tack and reliable adhesion to various substrates, including under moderate temperature and humidity conditions.

Robust backing

The coated fabric backing provides tear resistance and dimensional stability, so the tape can also be applied neatly to uneven substrates.
