Capra Grip I – Universal anti-slip tape (71588)
The Capra Grip I Universal photoluminescent anti-slip tape is a single-sided adhesive tape with a slip-resistant PVC backing. With a width of 50 mm and a length of 18.3 m, it is particularly suitable for extensive track or floor contour areas. The thickness is 0.72 mm and the temperature resistance ranges from -40 °C to +80 °C. The adhesive is a solvent-based acrylic and the liner consists of silicone paper. In dark areas, the photoluminescent property increases visibility.
Suitable for slip-resistant areas
The slip-resistant surface of the tape provides safe walking and pedestrian surfaces, ideal where dust, moisture or slipperiness create increased risk. The combination of PVC backing and solvent-based acrylic adhesive provides good adhesion to typical industrial surfaces.
Photoluminescent visibility
The photoluminescent property increases visibility even if the general lighting fails. This makes walkways, stairs or ramps easier to recognise without additional marking lights. The tape maintains its effectiveness in areas with changing lighting.

Application & practical guidance
- Clean the surface thoroughly and remove dust.
- Unroll the tape along the desired contour.
- Peel off the protective film, press the tape down firmly and remove bubbles.
- Smooth it again if necessary; the adhesive strength develops within a few hours.
Construction and material composition
The construction consists of a PVC backing that provides the slip-resistant effect, a solvent-based acrylic adhesive for strong adhesion and a silicone paper liner for easy unwinding and peeling.
